CHild Guitars and Toy Guitars in Pink When your looking for a child guitar for mainly toy reasons then look at the ones that have plastic tuners. Most child toy guitars will not have tuners that will last for a very long time. Guitars of this type are good as an introduction into the basic guitar sounds and for holding and learning how to do the very basics. An age group of 3-7 years of age is good for this type but I would encourage you to spend a bit more and get a guitar that will not only look good but will also sound good.
